This year will focus on organizing and strengthen the Tradeswomen Movement. There will be two workshops during the day, available to all attendees.
Ambassador Training
This workshops focuses on recruiting potential workers to the industry. After this workshop, all participants will be eligible to table and outreach in the community on behalf of Oregon Tradeswomen. You will also have the tools necessary to return to your companies, unions, or organizations and begin to launch your own ambassador program.
Running a Committee
Committees can be a powerful tool within any organization to create change and support all workers. This session will focus on Women’s Committees and their role in unions. However, this information is easily adapted to other committees including those that are based at a company, focus on other populations, or in other organizations. Participants will leave with a packet of information about how to start and run an effective committee.
